High-performance coaching with Simon Jones
Simon Jones brings experience from the highest levels of international cycling to individual coaching through My Best Season.
His approach starts with the rider’s goals, then works backwards to identify performance gaps and build a structured plan around training, preparation, equipment, fuelling, mindset and race execution. Simon describes this as “What It Takes To Win” — a methodology built around regular measurement, evaluation, feedback and review.
A former GB Cycling Head Coach and AusCycling Performance Director, Simon has coached riders to success at Olympic Games, World Championships, WorldTour events and Tour de France stages. Through My Best Season he now makes that high-performance experience available to individual riders, including track endurance athletes, through consultation, training programmes and 1:1 coaching.
For riders looking for more than a generic training plan, Simon’s coaching brings together physiology, technical preparation, aerodynamics, equipment selection, nutrition and performance psychology within a single performance-focused approach.
