Standing Start Calculator
Compare two race setups using your own standing-start performance.
1. Your current start
Use a repeatable timing split. This sets the rider's starting ability.
2. Test a change
Change only what you want to compare. Everything else starts matched to the current setup.
Advanced settings
Crank length changes are modelled during the opening acceleration at the rider's existing pedal-force capability; no automatic aerodynamic bonus is assigned. Race-wheel selections only. CRR and timed-event helmet factors match the pursuit ready reckoners. For Team Sprint Rider 1, the Pista Control tubular and Continental Sprinter receive a separate rear-tyre launch-grip estimate; their normal CRR remains in the calculation.

Ready-reckoner estimate. Crank calculations assume unchanged pedal-force capability; wheel and helmet aerodynamics, tyre traction and individual rider response can differ in real testing.
